Thanks to Teacher Tipster I have been loving my Silly-Brations in class to recognize and reward kids in class.

After discovering this video 3 years ago I have discovered and invented a lot of my own Silly-Brations. They make class more engaging, even at the 7th Grade Level!  Try them out someday!

Middle School Math

Students are required to take the cards and mix/match all of the verbal terms to the math terms.  The puzzle is rather challenging for students and is great review for vocabulary and understanding.  

JENGA

JENGA Rules: 

Students can play in groups of 2 or 4.  

Draw a JENGA tile and Roll Both Dice. 

The White one will always be your X Variable and the Red one will always be your Y Variable. 

Plug in the variables and simplify the expression.  

After all students have solved it, place the tile back on the top and continue.  

If the tower ever falls everyone must pick one random tile out of the pile and solve that one before setting it back up begins.
